The way each of us finds joy is as individual as we are. For me, joy comes from finding beauty in things around me, especially good design. I also find joy in history, food, flowers, snowstorms, and horrendous murder mystery shows. At Studio Hagen Black, we are on a journey to inspire our community to discover, learn and share all those things that satisfy our senses and our innate human longing for joy.

What is the aim of a city under construction unless it is a city? Where is the plan you are following, the blueprint?"
